The sweet heart of Newfoundland is in the families, communities and culture. Join me in Bay Bulls or soon in the Bay Roberts area.

South River / Clarke's Beach
We are working away on our new house! With electrical and plumbing in, we are down to interior finishes, and hope to be moved in by the spring.
By the time we are living there, I hope to be seeing clients in the Bay Roberts area by the summer or fall.
Check back here later this year for booking info on my new location.

Treatments
Registered Massage Therapy
Soft tissue work runs the full depth of tissue, from light manual lymphatic drainage and traditional General Swedish Massage techniques, to trigger point release, frictions and deep joint manipulations.
Tools are often helpful to make short work of a big job, or gently cover a large treatment area to bring the body back into balance.
Complimentary modalities I am certified in include: Matrix Repatterning, YogAlign, Yogassage, Gua Sha, Cupping, Taping, Reiki and Bloomberg Rhythmic Movement Therapy.
Comprehensive assessment and clear health goals are always helpful to choose the right approach and treatment plan for every individual.

Certified Matrix Repatterning Therapy
Matrix Repatterning is an advanced therapeutic system based on sound scientific principles and an understanding of the structural and bio-electric effects of injury on the deep framework of the body (the Matrix).
A complimentary modality under massage therapy, the matrix approach is best suited to complex or treatment-resistant conditions. Clients are encouraged to book for massage first so matrix can be incorporated into their existing treatment plan.
Bog Orchid Botanicals
Hand crafted products made with Newfoundland botanicals.
The garden and forest are very generous, and my skin has taught me how to care for it gently with natural products. I prepare batches of soaps, massage oil blends, salves, lip balms and other products on a regular basis for myself, and usually give the extra as gifts to friends and clients. Email me for info on the latest batch:

Grounding and Coherence in the Biofield for Manual Therapists
By Nadya Bell, RMT, CMRP, 2022
This work deals with electrical field theory and the concepts of grounding and coherence as they apply to human health. With consideration of the natural electromagnetic frequency environment on earth, and the changing geomagnetic context, heliobiological research is reviewed to understand how human health interacts with our electromagnetic environment. Clinical and theoretical research offers a look at the types of effects that are seen from health interventions that address the electrical connection between body and earth (earthing), as well as the exposure of the human body to electromagnetic frequencies in the therapeutic context. Basic science research into the internal bioelectric structure of the body, in particular the behavior of the skeletal system, is reviewed in the context of the clinical practice of Matrix Repatterning therapy. This work offers direction on supporting and facilitating the healing process by being aware of the natural bioelectric processes occurring in the body.

Nutritional Testing
This hair sample testing is the best advice I have found for diet and supplements. The results are very specific to the individual, and take the guess work out of giving your body what it needs. A similar but more detailed saliva testing that also comes with expert personal advice is also available through naturopath and acupuncturist Michelle Collett at CBS Wellness.
Franklin Method Fellowship
Physical therapists Solange Ross and Debora Chasse have an excellent series of free Franklin Method classes available on YouTube. They cover anatomy, movement and imagery for every part of the body, but I particularly recommend the healing power of their pelvic floor videos.
