If you are curious about my path…
This one is going to take a bit of courage. I am preparing for Samhain, which will open the next door of time for all of us. Here is my story.
With the changing solar calendar I switch my morning mantra list, and focus on a new chant. The process gives 40 days or so with 108 repetitions every day on at least one new chant. This is usually the first or second track, with the rest of the playlist as ‘supporting cast’ - old favourites, or new prospects for the future.
Sonny, my child, likes to call it spiritual procrastination, but I prefer to call it play.
When I began working as a massage therapist in 2018, my casual meditation practice became an imperative in my daily routine. Growing up sitting in silent Quaker meetings on Sundays, I always enjoy the long pause.
But my year with the shamans of the Shipibo tribe in the Peruvian Amazon has left me with an omnivorous spiritual appetite. Watching them pick up one or another religious tradition like just another tool, serving the highest light and soul intention, conductors of a cosmic orchestra.
With their support and assistance, I found many doors within myself, and checked out a stack of books from the proverbial akashic library. Symbols and teachings unknown to me at the time, this is where I return to every morning. Following the path we are all on.
One of the most vivid visions was of a flaming ships' wheel opening a door into a realm of molecular reorganization, a level of awareness well beyond what I was able to consciously direct at the time. I had a good laugh at myself when I found the image adorning many Buddhist temples and mandalas. Thank you Dharma Wheel.
I share this story with you, because much of my meditation these days involves working with the Buddhist tradition chants. I have no initiation or training in this practice, but I find that the frequencies resonate well with my path and intentions. I deliberately learn only a few key points so that my meditation is guided by the resonance of the sounds and images first.
I am so grateful to the energy and healing that has found me this way. I am here to consciously offer my energy stream to the collective, because of course, we will only go home together. Whatever your path entails, it is amazing and beautiful. Thank you for being here.
Literally, I have a rotating set of morning meditation playlists publicly available on youtube that I download and practice, along with the rest of my morning ritual and tea.
The intention here is to share a little of my practice. This is where I am, every day. If you want to sit with me, this is my river.
Take good care of yourself,
Nadya
